In response to the Covid emergency facing the live entertainment sector in 2020 , Stageport devised and led an ambitious Innovation project, Tramway Revisited, funded by UKRI / Innovate UK.

Working with Glasgow’s internationally-renowned arts space  Tramway, the project team developed a new digital toolkit, which  aimed to:

•Improve the accessibility of physical venues while social distancing regulations were in force.

•Develop new cultural experiences using digital technology.

For Stageport, the project offered huge opportunities for knowledge exchange with leading digital experience designers ISO Design, architectural designers at McGinaly Bell, built environment consultants RVT Parametrix and audience insight specialists Indigo Ltd.

The overarching aims of the project were to enable the cultural sector to recover, grow and create new opportunities in the aftermath of the global pandemic.

Over the course of the project several prototypes were developed and published including.

Some examples below of the assets we created during the project.

Metric Handbook produced by McGinlay Bell, designed to clearly demonstrate how safe social distancing regulations could be applied at Tramway.
